boosting a B18C5
i was wondering if anyone has bossted a a stock type R motor and whut results they got i know the compression is a little higher than a GS-R but if use a thicker haed gasket would i be ok i'm debating on a turbo B18C5 or c1 let me know whut u guys think...thanks

cometic headgasket to drop the comp a bit (if you so wish) and a good tune...I've seen people do decent numbers on stock R swaps.

I was just reading this on ti.net about this same thing...

Just pull the motor and sell it for a grip of cash, buy an ls/vtec and boos tthat and piece your turbokit together with the huge ammount of money you just saved |

i can get the whole c5 swap for 3000 so thays y i was considering it but would that be better for an all motor carr or should i just boost it
