Re: Boosted Buick - Not idling right

its backed by a T700 transmission

its not i didnt give it TLC, trust me i did

ripped the engine to peices, did headgaskets, new heads, tougher valve springs, new inlet seals, valve stem seals, new valves, pushrods, rockers, thermostat, leads, coil packs, plugs

just too much boost with no tune...

yeah its soo fun to drive, being RWD u get sideways with NO hand brake :P

ummmm wideband would be nice however expensive, we've tuned cars without wide band before... slap them on the dyno... and the A/F ratio is off.. we ajusted it. sure it went better but then next hot day (being in australia we get very hot days all year) it pinged its tits off... this was a SC14 toyota blower on a Buick 3800engine, wasnt too bad.. intercooled @10psi with water injection made 4.95 0-60mph

only problem is my current injectors are too small for the fuel requirements, this isnt a small turbo remember :P, 560cc ones should be here on wedensday, then i can push 10psi properly,

i work at a junkyard, found a N12 pulsar turbo today... the turbo was sooo tiny...i laughed :P

i get my 560cc injectors soon, then it should have no fuel issues up to 30psi :P

Until 14.3 psi at sea level, anyway.
