Boosted B Updated new PICS

Re: Boosted B now w/ PICS
theres also an obvious increase in compression between the ls and the b16. 10.2:1 compression and 16psi on a stock motor is straight up asking for trouble. I dont have a problem with that on a d series or an ls, even though you know its not gonna last that long. I forgot its all the mexicans that know how to tune the big hp turbo cars... thats why you hear them at the track all the time trying to get their engines to just rev up all the way without ------- breaking up :1

The sol is awsome right now, vtec is back as well as the exhaust. I'll get some shoots of the car in the morning. I also put the car on a steady diet of 10 psi. And as for the tune the owner of DNA motorsports is doing ithim self as a favor(street then dyno).

Peak torque is what kills you... rev the B16 a little higher, preferrably with GSR/ITR cams, and place the boost up there. If the cylinder isn't filling as much (lower torque) and the revs are high (less time to detonate) then you're golden. If the turbo is big enough, and the manifold dynamics correct, the cam's NA powerband keeps rising. The 2.0/VTEC with T67 liked 15-18 psi on pump gas, no detonation, pulling to 9500 rpms on stock B16 cams until the exhaust cam sheared off it's VTEC lobes.

The ones I have are blurry, lemme ---- with lighting and the cheap digicam for a minute.
RLZ said the springs were 100+ lb Ferreras, and that cams are now wear items.
We slip in the Rocket Motorsports m21/m20 combo this weekend, and then it's off to munch on a certain 500 awhp Evo. He's a bit scared, but I'm assuring him we are running the "stock" MAP sensor.
