Boost on stock Z6

How many psi can I run on stock internals with the proper tuning? I have heard of numbers as hi as 10 psi with the proper fuel & timing. Is this safe? Would proper tuning mean having the ecu retuned plus say a safc or a vafc? I get all bent outta shape on the tuning for hi boost engines. Thanks guys.

you can go higher than 10 if you want...depends on your fuel setup, driving, and plans for longevity

I am going to be shooting for around 10 psi on my Z6 with proper tuning of course.

me and my friend both run 10psi daily on our stock d's (d16z6 me, d15b7him)... me w/ a volvo t3 him w/ greddy. 10k miles and still going strong

Premium fuel and knock the timing back a few degrees, you'll be a-ok.
