Re: Boost spike with MBC???
----, a couple pounds boostspike would prolly bring the end to my worn out d15. i wanna run 10 psi, but my wastegate set at 7. Maybe i'll just stay at 7psi for a start, until i save for a nice MBC, and EBC is out of the question( too ------- expensive) already see myself getting flamed for being a ----- and not turning up the boost. Well what do u expect from a noob :1

Re: Boost spike with MBC???
a couple pound spike isnt going to kill it unless you have a really shitty tune, tune on the rich side a bit to compensate and raise it :P plus most mbc's that i've seen or read about hold really well till about 15 and then they spike a couple pounds max maybe after that
MBC's can be had for cheap, a buddy who runs an import shop near me sells i think its like an OBX or something mbc for less then $40, and better for under $60, or you could always go the e-gay route and take your chances
first question would be i guess.. do you have any kind of adjustable fuel management to compensate for the boost and do you know how to use it, if so then your worrying too much unless you have an unhealthy motor.. in my opinion
