Re: Boost required for 13 sec Quater Mile times.
On street tires in a FWD car, it's going to vary a lot based on how well you drive, the style of clutch you have, etc.
Also, some peoples' definition of "street tires" is much different than others. Some people consider DOT approved "cheater slicks" street tires, along with purpose-made drag radials. Others are much stricter.
In a FWD car on genuine street tires, I'd probably want in and around 250hp at the flywheel in a 2400 pound car to ensure I was in the 13's.
With slicks, of course, and a good launch, you can get into the 13's much easier.

1800lbs with me in it, 150 flywheel hp to break 13's according to this site http://robrobinette.com/et.htm
do yall think 7 psi could make 150 fly hp on a d16a1?
not sure how accurate, but ive put in quite a few numbers for stock cars and came within .5 seconds.

By Street I mean street thats a 175/80/13 Tyre
Obviouslly tractions gona be a problem as even with 4 PSI boost and 2500 RPM launches she is wheel spining.
Time to beat is arround 16-17 seconds for a national record I think. Still checking.
Competition other Swifts runing upto 100 shots of NOS.
Weight of car and rider 2200lbs
1.3 Ltr Engine Ported/polished and head shaved
IHI RFB5 Turbo Hybrid capable of arround 16 psi boost at 7000 RPM. Presntlly runing 6 PSI.
Sample of launch at arround 2800 RPM. If we launch at 4000, 5000 RPM the car never gets traction till we change to second.
