How cold the nitrous you inject in is irrelevant since it burns so goddamn *hot*. Nitrous is much more volatile than a turbo, you can *always* make more power with a turbo, and when your turbo spools as quick as it does and supports more power than you are currently using it makes no sense to make your power dangerously buy spraying on top of it.

Two setups that will be using boost + nitrous correctly:

2.0/VTEC, T67, spools 4-4500 rpms. It's getting a 50-75 dry shot to bring the turbo to 2/3rds the desired boost level and then it shuts off.

Stock geometry LS/VTEC, SSAC T70, spools even later. It's getting a 50 shot wet to spool, and is ported for 100 shot direct if slow ****** liter plus bikes start to pull away. Racegas only ride.

so n-tercooler is the way to go for cooling ?? or a waist of nitrous ??

---- intercooler cooling, it costs 80$ cnd to fill up a 10lbs tank, stickt that ---- in you intake and go to town.

we sprayed a 50 shot on my friends SRT-4 and gained 99whp on the dyno. he runs 20 psi and sprays it daily!

i think you need to build your bottom end up before spraying even a 20 shot with a 16g
your never going to max out that turbo with stock internals.
we've seen beerbongs hit around 230 and i dont think the d series pencil sized connecting rods can handle much more than that.

D16 rods are probably good for 275 whp or more + 4000 miles of sheer hell with the correct tune. No nitrous of course. People have run them to 300-330 whp for 4000 miles, so claiming that mileage at 275 is almost guaranteed.

Atlee's Z6 lasted six months on 15G @ 14 psi, which is a LOT of hot air and turbine restriction and the absolute most power that can be squeezed out of a 15G. I wasn't there, and this was before boost cut scripts, so he probably boost spiked when he broke #2 ringland - everything else looked ****.

JD I may be contacting you to discuss tis when it comes time to setup my system. How are you going to control the window? Adjustable Boost Sensor? When are going to start spraying? and 2/3rd of desired boost? how muc is desired? 8psi is alot different then 22psi!

Regular ZEX controls for the 2.0 car, with a Hobbs switch to cut it off when the boost comes up. Going 0-4 psi on that T67 is ***** slow and late, but 4+ is lightning quick. We're only going 15-16 psi on pumpgas and racegas for anything higher, so spraying until 10-12 isn't fearsome + she'll spool plenty quick on her own past that point.

It's Wes car with the extra 100 shot for bikes that worries me... I drew out a lot of timing this last time around and he sprayed a lot on that engine, so I have safe timing values to go off of (that I am sure lost him power). It'll be more closely tuned this time around w/ one of the Moates dual program boards to run the car off boost + nitrous. Always more than happy to share what I come up with.
