Re:Boost and N2O concerns
I love Zex's dry kit ( 9 bottles of 75shot on my D15B2 with 155K miles and it never blew up ), BUT with a boosted car it's almost common sense to use a wet kit that doesn't add anymore "load" to the injectors than they are already dealing with. Zex makes a wet kit now, but I haven't heard any reveiws of it.
I'd presonally just stick with a 35shot, and use a Hobbs presure switch to activate it at like 5psi. The greddy turbo is so small it doesn't need help spooling, it needs help keeping up with the engine at high speeds. 12psi greddy kit, and 35shot would make more power than 90% of civics could use. spin spin spin, shift, spin spin spin, shift, spin. Hope you gotta good clutch and extra tranny hanging arouind too... D-series trannies don't last long under 300whp cars... |
Re:Boost and N2O concerns
Hahaha Right now I'm only runnin at 7psi, and a 55 shot of ZEX. you think i should get a wet kit? Can I get liek an upgrade kit or do I gotta buy a whole new kit? Oh yeah about the tranny....what i have is a sin...automatic...yeah yeah, but thats all I could afford was an EX auto, I had to get outta a lease....something i will NEVER EVER EVER do again
