Default Boost meter

recently just purchased a boost meter..
the reading is in vacuum and pressure...
so i like to know what pressure means?
PSI?? how to convert it to bar? i know 1bar=14.7psi..
then how bout pressure??

ur car runs under vacume and then when ur turbo gets spooled it starts making boost psi =pounds per square inch
