tap into the hose that connects the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator.

that is what i did, it must be leaking. the way i tapped it was, i took a T that fit the straw snug and pushed it in the T and then taped around it. i couldn't figure out any better way to do it. any suggestions.

use the compressor fitting that came with your gauge, screw it into a hose and connect the other end of the hose onto the tee. to secure it even more, use tip ties on the connection between the threaded end of the compression fitting and the hose.

this is what i did...it works...even up to 8+psi, it reads.

if you need a pic i'll send one over to you, now worries.

thanks,
chris

i never hooked up the ground or the power wire. would that make a difference or does it just control the light.

tape is not a good way to install a boost gauge, the boost gauge is one of the most important elements to a turbo system. you woulnd't wanna tape your manifold to your turbo so take some care with the gauge as well.

try to use the brass fittings that come with the gauge because they will include conpression sleeves and will be nice and secure.
