Default boost goes up to 5psi, but at high rpm goes to 4.5psi

i have a t3 garrett turbo with a manuel boost controller, turbonetic deltagate wastegate. I keep on trying to boost higher, but no matter how much i turn the alloy key on the mbc, it still stays the same boost......when i full throttle at middle rpm it is at 5psi, then at high rpm, it drops down to 4.5 psi, i dont know if i got a messed up wg, or a messed up mbc....but i had never seen or heard of a mbc messing up because they are pretyt simple, any suggestions?

whats the wastegate set to in the first place?
just run a vaccum line from you intake manifold to your wastegate without no MBC and see where your boost level is at.
be careful with those controllers, ive had bad luck with them(i kept getting a lot of spikes)

ya if its has the 6 thats what its set too. hook up the vaccum lines like i told you and you should get the full 6psi. if you have the wastegate vacuum line conected to the turbo directly you might be losing 1-2psi through the intercooler.

a 1/2 psi drop isnt bad at all, and I wouldnt worry about that. Obvisously your MBC is not working correctly or you dont know how to operate it. What kinda MBC is it? did you make it yourself? Most deltagates (depending on model) allow you to adjust boost right on top of the diaphram without a boost controller.
