Default boost.....gap??

so i was driving down a street, it was a LONG stright road i punched it and 1st gear it was like it always is then in second once i hit around 8psi my rpms skyrocket to like 5800K but no power is going to the wheels, just loud fast spoolin sound. I shift into 4th and i i couldent go past 4k rpms!! ever since its been like that, do i just need to get the car tuned? i checked all charge pipes no leaks or anything out of the ordanary... help

hmm... wouldent you kinda feel it ? everythig is smooth just no power

by the way, ive been wondering what you mean by "wannabe WRX" ?

Yeah, sounds to me like either your clutch is slipping or you've got a boost leak somewhere in your setup. Check all your couplings/IC pipes.

Well.. If no power is going to the wheels then there must be a problem getting the power to the wheels. Clutch.

Quoted for truth. If your description was corrrect, it's definitly the clutch unles one of your axles broke in half and miraculously welded itself back together.

damnit i knew one day im gona need a stronger one, so when its "slipping" you dont really feel it, the engine just revs high?
