Boost EG with D15B2... Thanks HMT
Hi all,
Finally boosted my UK EG LSi with D15B2 (yes we got an oddball EG that runs OBD0) .. with MPFI conversion done. This is my first time boosting and I like to thank HMT for the wealth of information and help of course in the desperate moment of needs....

Front Mount Intercooler
HF Manifold
Home Made Adaptor Plate
Stealthmode Oil line
Oil Filter Sanwich Plate
A Cheap Blitz Replica Bov (yes I am a cheap ***)
A Cheap Musthroom Filter
Saab 9000 Turbo Elbow Downpipe (Cut and Shut :P)
Wastegate Actuator from Saab 9000 at 7-8 PSi
Chipped PP4- G01 ECU From a Rover
Moates Ostrich

Here is some pictures : -
A long battle begin here

Marking the space to cut out for the dip stick

Semi Finished adaptor plate... bear in mind do not have access to machinery.. so it was done by bend drill and carbide burrs...

Back view of the adaptor plate..

Finally mated the turbo...

Test Fitting on car

Intercooler test fitting ... have to made the brackets from a bar of C shaped steel

Test fitting the bumper back on along with my cheated CAI tubes attached...

In progress of making the charge pipe note the "SEXY" weld....

This is the vaccum source for the oil catch tank..

The pipes been connected up but it is rather tight... Need to get hold of a 120 degree silicon Reducer some point!

A hot of the finish project

With the front bumper back on

The car is boosting..... but the boost at the moment is not stable... so I will have to iron out a few problems... and yes I still have the fuel map to tune as well currently running on basemap with a few points richened up... I pressed my tell tale button.... boost have spike up to 1 Bar that was due to incorrect boost controller setting.... but for now I am packing for my 3 months working trip... so have to wait until I come back to sort the rest out
Overall it have been a enjoyable experience of course full of headache as well :P but it doesn't stop there I suppose still got the mapping to do.....
