well I have the the vaccum hooked to the intake mani and there are some curves in piping so I am gonna guess it is a combination of both here is what my piping looks like

MR_DR_PEP, no your right it right, i was wrong. typed this after 9 hours at work, so my brian was a bit "off". colder air is MORE dense, therefore you can get more cold air into the same volume (HxWxD) as you can air of a warmer temperature. thanks for the the correction, won't want to give anyone wrong info. *blush*
