Default Boost control

I have a T3 .42/.48 (Turbo II) in the mail, with built-in wastegate set to the stock 14psi. I want to scale this back to 8, and have it adjustable (1-10psi).

Where can I buy an affordable but reliable boost controller?

A boost controller is only able to increase the boost. You've got a couple of options, change your setup to an external waistgate (ideal), or you can chop the rod to the internal waistgate, thread it and make it adjustable. (not ideal) It will make you turbo laggay...

Hmmm.. well, in that case, forget adjustability and I guess I need an 8psi WG spring.

who keeps telling people an adjustable actuator arm will make your turbo laggy? that's bullshit. mine works fine.

Get the spring setting for your lowest desired boost level.

Then, get a boost controller to give you the abbility to adjust up from there.

You may need to change the whole actuator mechanisim to get your base boost level.
