what about clutch, which one are you guys running, xtreme, 4 puck, etc

 

You guys recomend getting mounts that are halfway decent shape to throw these in, or do you just throw em on your everyday 180k mile busted *** rubber? My ----'s floppin and if I don't need to go to the jy for mounts I'm just gonna insert/fill anyway, I'd be happier.

 

I used some window weld to patch up a good 20" rip in my convertible top (miata). All of the mounts in my wagon are either 100% window weld or at least repaired with it.

 

there is some, but as long as you arent a ------- ----- it shouldnt bother you

want to see vibration? install ES torque mounts and Prothane upper mount inserts(the half plastic ones), then that bitch will vibrate.

 

I always throw them into busted *** mounts. If you look at the way they squeeze in and support the mount you'll see there's not much difference between using a new or a worn out mount.


Oh, I see. Since I'm not a passive -----boy I don't notice miniscule vibrations? Good to know.

There is no vibration like a set of the Jimfab lower torque mounts with rear mount ES insert, and no flex coupler in the DP. Whole car shakes.

 

how about solid motor mouts like i have...homemade and all. it vibrates pretty good....kinda makes my ***** itch though

 

got the inserts, but what kinda clutches does everyone use? 6 puck, extreme,etc

yes i also agree, not trying to argue, just looking to see what particular kind of lsd clutch you are running. I want something that will last but is still streetable
