all your vac / boost sources should come from the intake manifold.

 

so your saying that thats not a vacuum source? im confueseeed

 

so its not a good idea to hook up the wastgate to the compressor housing ? thats how mine is hooked up never had any issues i may try the intake manifold to see if there is any diffrence

 

i dont have a nipple on the compressor houseing
the car just doesnt pull.....something isnt hooked up right......
is there any diagrams anyone has that i can look at?


my car runs like ----.....when i get to 5 psi....my engine light comes on....code 3 ( mapsensor)
and it spits and sputters.....

the damn car is slower than it was b4 turbo....

it takes the boost a while to build up to 5 psi.....it doesnt pull..

something is wrong......

and wtf is check valve

 

well #1 no check valve if your map reads boost is should ---- its self
2. im a noob my self but do us a favor dont be an ingnorant *****
and blow your motor ur the reason noobs look bad.
3. If you want to blow your motor buy and fmu so atleast you can
feel boost before you ---- ---- up.

I do notice tho that with my car at idle and i rev it up a little....the bov whistles for a while after the car goes back down to 700 rpm....doesnt that supposed to stay shut until your boosting and let off?

 

mine use to blow off and wistle when in nutral b/c at vac it should be open mine would open just a crack but it was enough to wistle

 

O..ok i thought something was wrong.....
well im looking for the missing link right now...and im installing my FPR, 450's and cam gears 2morrow....

I really want the turboedit.....since mine is obd0 and i dont feel like going though a obd converstion...
i jus wanna run 8 psi .....safely....

until then i'll rock the 450's and fpr on 5psi
