what could be wrong with my car!

symtons:

bluey - white smoke and uses a bit of water,

the turbo was only reconditioned about 1 month ago and is done by a good company that have given me a 12 month warranty on it, so i dont think it can be that!


i thought headgasket so did a dry compression check and i got 160 across all 4 cylinders! and then did a wet test and got 200+ all across all 4 cylinders, im saying its the rings, but all 4 go at once? maybe worn from a lot of use? 121 *** miles!! would i be using much power from the rings being gone?

and the water loss problem? could this be the headgasket?

maybe your head gasket is gone?

 

could also be IM gasket.. compression would be fine but water would be getting into the cyl closest to the dist.

when you did your compression check did you just take out the spark plug of the cylder that you were testing or all the spark plugs? if you only took out one, try taking them all out and then doing the test again

 

i just took out the spark plug i was testing, what differance does it make? checking for leaks between cylinders?

Maybe try to isolate the problem by taking all your plugs out and then doing cold and hot tests to see which cylinders are fucked. As always, use wide open throttle so as to make up for any pumping losses, etc...

Check your coolant amd plugs also, they can be great to let you know the overall condition of the setup. If you are pressurizing your radiator (i.e. blown head gasket) then you will know.

 

possible is your valve steam seal. your car does have alot of miles on it. i seen it happens alot of Toyota camry. if u only see smoke after the car site over night then i'm pretty sure is your vavle steam seals.
