Re: blown turbo?

Huh,

You probably have a blown seal. Ya!! You have to go out and buy a whole new Greddy Kit!!!!

For real! Look on ebay for a rebuild kit. If you don't feel comfortable with rebuilding it yourself, send it out to someone who does it, buy a new/rebuilt turbo, or try you luck on a kunkyard unit.

What turbo are you running?
If its a bit on the smaller side of things your best to buy a t3..If you're not already running one 8)

Re: blown turbo?

Did you put your fingers on both ends of the compressor and exuast wheels , then move them in the same direction?
If there is any play your seals are most probably fuked. :-\
same as what happened to me

Re: blown turbo?

Yeh take the downpipe of so you can reach the exuast wheel.
Then try move it horizontally togther with the compressor wheel and if there is play its probably stuffed.
