check this out...how old do you think this turbo is and do you think there is something wrong w/ the seals?

it looks a little oily in there to me=blown seals

 

this isn't my turbo...a fellow HMT'er is looking to get it and the guy told him that it's barely used and in good condition.......right..............

 

The seals are not blown the turbo only has 900 miles on it. My friend fucked up his piston rings reason being oil in the turbo. This is normal for this happening. I would not sell you the turbo saying its in perfect cond. and seals are perfect if I 100% didnt know they where. Oh well lets gets some peoples opinion on the turbo. Anyone back me up? I know I posted this on Honda-Tech awhile back and 10+ people thought the seals where perfect. -Nick
