well i used to be running 8 psi and now im only running 5 and i think my head gasket my be blown b/c my over flow keeps filling up... well anyways i was j/w if a blown head gasket would cause this

do a leak down/ compression test and boost leak test it too.

 

yea im gonna do a compression check soon, but could a blown head gasket cause a loss in boost

It's never happened to me or anyone I know so I would have to say no...........

 

Well it could be that you just warped your head a little and now thats why you are over heating. But that shouldn't cause a loss in boost unless you have a very tiny turbo and a really bad warped head. Just do a leak down test like everyone else said and then go from there.

 

boost leak test it too.. you would be surprised where you are leakin boost.
