Good ----!!!!!

So, I dyno'd it this morning. It made 117 hp at 8PSI boost and 127 at 10 PSI. I also fixed up the exhaust and got it hooked up to the downpipe and was able to put some real miles onit and it ripps pretty good. I'm really happy with it. I get 1 psi at 2500 and I get 8 at 2900. 10 comes in about 3-3100. So boost is very usable.

All in all, I'm super stoked on the turn out. I will let you know how it goes in the long run.

How's this coming along. I've been thinking turbo to help out on the highway also but to also help up the ledges and hills on the trail. I'm running a Harley cv carb which is a keihin and from reading to make it a blowthru carb I just have to install a pitot tube and connect to the float bowl vent. The Harley carbs already have plastic floats so no changes have to be made there. How's your bottom end holding up. I was only thinkin of running 5 to 6 psi but if your safely running 10 that's awesome

I got the downpipe installed with the wide band bung, I didn't get the sensor in it to really get any data yet, but I will tomorrow. I will get some more info and seat time tomorrow and try to get an idea of where i'm at, but so far so good. I think I'm over the hump though.

WOOHOO

You're making great progress!
What did you do concerning the float vents?

Have you tried messing with the air jets?

There are also different float jets too. The 750's are different and will swap in the 600's. This would allow you to keep a low pressure but more flow when they open up. Just food for thought instead of adjustable FPR that may need to be boost related.

You can get different needles that you can adjust via several grooves on the top of them. They also have several different tapers.

Remember the pilot mixture screws effect all the circuits and small adjustment to those screws make a huge difference.

Have you noticed any difference in AFR readings between 1 and 4 cylinders after the airbox was installed? Shuduck did a flow analysis with a box of similar design. I'm trying to find it now. I don't have a multiple port AFRM or the bungs or the O2's to do that test. YUM YUM.

I want more off idle response so we have been working on the Superchargers for these carbs. I think that the GSXR MPFI's would be easier to tune but then we are back to electronic controls which is probably needed anyway to do any boost system correctly anyway. This is system that was recently brought to my attention and 1/3rd the price of MSD. Programmable High Energy Ignition System: 16478 AutoSpeed

I have been designing several different airbox designs and have been working some with an Edelbrock engineer. Most of what I have been working on was just for a snorkel but will fit the blow through needs easily.

Keep it up.
