Default BLITZ BOV, surge

I just installed a used Blitz Super Sound blow off valve. Now I have a problem with compressor surge. The problem is usually at lower rpms at lower boost levels. ILl let off the gas and the BOV wont open until it sees more than 15 in HG vacuum. Now I disaambled the BOV, cleaned it and greased it up. The problem got better but now its back again. At higher boost/rpms levels, no surge.
But at lower rpms, I get a fttt tsssh like I hear the compressor surge, then the bov opens. at really low rpms when no boost is built the compressor surges and the bov doesnt even open.
I tried adjusting it (less tension) and its better, but still surging.
The only think I can think off is either the BOV doesnt have a strong enough vacuum source (its teed off my FPR) but it never did this with my DSM.
I was thinking of shortening the bov spring until the bov opens under vacuum at idle like my dsm did, or machine a groove into the brass valve and install an o-ring to prevent any leaks within the BOV. Any ideas?

Im pretty sure you should take that T off of the FPR

Raises fuel pressure does it not?

I'd try a new vac source first but those Blitz bovs don't like to open a low boost. My buddy's doesn't open under 4-5 lbs.

Slight surge is fine.....I still get it with my Greddy. It's hard to find a sweet spot since you don't want it to leak but want it to open up also.
