Black Smoke Pwns Me...
So my buddy was following me yesterday and for the first time noticed black smoke out of the exhaust in between shifts. It's the first any of us have encountered this issue. The only thing I did was disconnect my catchcan and thus my air filter so I'm running straight turbo inlet with a mess guard and a breather. Big black puff of smoke between shifts is the problem at hand that seemed to occur out of nowhere and really after I took off the pre-turbo intake. If anything the thing sound run leaner and it was cooler out so I don't understand it at all. Talked to a few different people and it's just straight up funky. Any ideas?

Yes, indeed it is. However, it is only between shifts (and I think while in boost only at that, but unsure) and JUST seemed to have started with my no pre-turbo intake.

Doubt it's blowby. I had a catch can on prior to the incident and no oil or anything in it. Black not blue smoke, I would think that blowby would be blue not black. Umm, Uber for management.
