Default are bigger valves worth the money

what up fellas. what started as a regular ls swap in a eg boosted with a garrett t3t4 57 trim has evolved to a t3 60-1 and a fully built motor( xcept sleeves). as we speak im waiting on wiesco pistons 9.1, 81.5mm , eagle rods, acl bearings . got 402 t crower cams, crower dual springs and tit. retainers. i know head work on an ls helps alot so im getting a port n polish 3 angle valve job. my question is it worth spending more cash on crower valves. stock is 31mm on intake and 28 on ex. ive seen some 31.5mm and 28.5 mm valves which as u know its a bit bigger. will this truly make a difference and be worth the money or should i just keep what i got. i dont want to put a vtec head on so and every one talks about how the ls head flows like ***. if any other ls peeps out there that have done this id like ur input.

I have no idea how much CFM a stock ls would flow but after some math that .5 mm of intake valve increases your airflow by a mere 3%. idk if that is worth it for you. If you are already porting and polishing and have the money to throw at it, i would say do it. If you are on a budget on the other hand... your call.

The thing that most people dont do when they install larger valves is the extra bowl work for the larger valves. For boost your wasting your money

A good manifold/throttle body setup
camshaft selction will go a long way.
