Can you show me the part number for them at autozone? I found them on their site for 87/piece.

I see they sell a set for 43.99 but they are part number F4SE-AA and I haven't came across that part number anywhere yet, so I'm not sure if that's the 150lb ones. But if you know that they are, please confirm.


When did I say gas milage had anything to do with this? I'm looking at it because it's around 105 Octane, for 60 cents cheaper then what I pay for 92 Octane. We do have 111 leaded available at the pumps here, but that is around $5/gallon vs. 1.79 E85 at the pumps. I'm wanting to do this because this should allow me to run higher boost on the streets, not because I'm looking at mpg. Local people are also seeing less knock on the e85 then they are on the 111, plus the fact that it doesn't eat up O2 sensors. One of the local guys ran 11.08 @ 134.77 on the corn juice at 25psi.

I'm running about 20psi on 92. Another 5psi on the streets would be a nice difference, and the only thing I need to do is swap in these new injectors. Plus I can sell my old injectors, and for what I paid for these 1600's, I will probably break even with it all. I honestly don't see any disadvantage to doing this. And hell, if I want to run 92, i can save a 92 tune on my laptop and just run that. Then switch over to my e85 tune when I run e85, and then have another saved tune for C16. But once this is done, I don't see myself going back to 92 on this car unless e85 rockets up in price.

They never dynoed the DSM I linked to above. That car was thrown on they dyno right before they went to the track. It only had a quick down and dirty tune on it so they said. I'm really impressed with what I'm seeing from this stuff. I also think MN has a large majority of the e85 pumps in the whole country. I pass 2 gas stations on my 15 minute drive to work that have E85. It's all over here, so again, I don't see why not.

Lots of those gas stations poping up in wisconsin too, I was wondering if these injectors come on fords flex fuel vehicles? I see a ton of them running around, I'm sure theres a bunch in yards around me.

Well, the bastards called me today, said sorry they are on backorder, after the sales guy had already confirmed to me that they had quite a large amount in stock. Freaking bastards. They said they should have more in about 2 weeks.

I agree with cost of converting to e85 setup and if I need higher octane fuel I just pich it up from a race shop.

Besides if you are having a detonation or pinging problem then get a better intercooler, colder plugs, timeing, etc.

This is what real tuning is about.

Yup, apparently these things are pretty hot items.. The ones I ordered are 2 weeks backordered now they told me.

And again, I do not see the arguement on the "cost of the setup" to used E85. I'm not telling you to do it, I have been talking about this for ME. And for ME, there is no reason not to. All I need is these injectors, which in the end will end up costing me no money because I should be able to sell my current injectors for the same price I'm buying these ones for. So where is the "cost of an e85 setup" in my application? It's not costing a thing. And I guess this thread wasn't meant for E85, it was simply to share what I had found, which was big injectors for cheap. If you don't like E85, it doesn't affect me at all. It's working awesome here in the twin cities for everyone I know using it, and I am going to use it. All I wanted to do was share what I found.
