i have a 98 ek and i wanna know wats the best cat back system for turbo i could get but thats very quiet..... some people tell me borla....need some answers quick..............thanx

The nature of the turbo alone will make it quiet. You really only need 2.5" piping and a resonator or 2. If you have to use a muffler, get anything with a straight through design. Stay away from chambered designs like Flowmaster. Do a search, there have been a few threads on this topic in the last week or so.

the turbo makes your exhaust quieter, just get custom 2.5" from an exhaust shop and add a 50 dollar straight through fart can off ebay and you'll be as good as it gets, seriously.

So far pretty legit advice. The most you need is 2.5 (mandrel bends preferred), maybe 3" if you are doing a crush bent jobber. Look around for random-strike's black 2g integra, he's using a Turbo muffler (turbo being the brand name) he says it's stock quiet.

Some people have suggested a magna flow muffler, I would stick with PureCRXtasy's advice on this one.

Let us know how it works out for you, post some sound clips or something when you get it done.

yup, i'm running 2.5 crush bends and a el cheapo muffler from ebay and it sounds stock, until i put on the external wastegate with open dump tube anyways :P

I just picked up a shitload of 4" mandrel bends so I might end up running 4" straight back, no cat, no muffler. could be interesting.
