Well if it was shipped from Japan than it must be good
I had one and I didn't really like it. Sounded like a 2gen DSM

ssqv is definitely better than the type s. you can get the type s to not leak by putting both springs in and tightening the adjustment screw, but then it doesn't work at low psi and you get comp. surge :P

both springs in, and the adjustment screw all the way tight was the only way i could get it not to leak, but then like i said, i would get comp. surge at anything under 5 psi.
