I need something that puts the compressor to the drivers side so I can have sanitary charge pipe routing on my ED, but it seems like most "budget" manifolds put it towards the passenger side.

Any recomendations?

 

ok you can turn the turbo around on any manifold for example if you have a mani with a t3 foot print and a t3 turbo you COULD bolt them together either way because the foot print is symetrical, the issue is clearance with the block and radiator, if you dont have a shorty radiator then put one in and just use a dx manifold and you can weld your own flange on it and put a spacer between the mani. and flange so that the turbo will fit in there the way you want it to, keep in mind it may take some fabbing to get it to fit how you want, you might not be able to just buy a manifold that positions the turbo exactly where you want it, thats why its homemadeturbo.com

no it isnt rocket science and yes you can just flip that ---- around but my point was there may be clearance issues with flipping it around so what is he gonna do just buy every manifold he can and try it untill he finds one that fits? no just build your own ------- manifold

 

I've tried flipping it on a couple manifolds. They usually end up at really fucked angles.

I could make my own, but i already have done that once, and didnt really feel like doing it again.

 

my point exactly :P but you might have to build your own manifold to get it to fit how you want

 

just make your own mani, then you can set it up side down if you wanted. lol. 98ctr

 

I really did not want to build my own again. The last one turned out awesome (fitment wise) but it takes alot of work, and I am very lazy.
