Did you change the B2 ecu when you did the swap? What ecu do you have.

Size of turbo won't matter as far as the strength of your internals. What matters is how much boost you allow the turbo to push, and how well you can control fuel/ignition timing.

Yes, you can boost Carb, OBD0, OBD1, OBD2, whatever. You need to tell us more of the specifics so we can help you better.

What ECU are you using now?
How will you be tuning it (chipped ECU, FMU, SAFC?)
How much power do you want to make?
How much money do you want to spend?

the ecu im using now is a stock PG7. i mite chip it or use the FMU. i want to be in the 180-200 hp range. and i want to do this on a bugdet build...you kno homemade turbo style.

listen, read

and not only the damn stickies, research throughout the forum and sift through the bullshit to learn instead of asking really common questions. Use google to search the site if you need to, since this forums search function went tits.

I boosted a b2 a few years ago and it held up fine. My friend has blown two d15's up at 7 psi on a 14b turbo but it was tuning related not power related

The search function works great.

Sounds like the OP would be best off to do a standard HF mani/adaptor plate/T3 or 14b/chipped ECU with crome/DSM 450cc injectors. That should reach your power goals the most cost-effectively. Check the turbo projects on the main page for reference.

And do some ------ research.
