how much boost can a b20 vtec with piston and rods and a block guard hold

 

8-10psi tops.. tuned perfectly and a weak timing map.







no need to put a block guard in, b20 sleeves crack from the inside out. Monolithic desinged sleeves are the weakest b-series sleeves. This b20 block was pinned and cracked sleeves at 12 psi on a 4th gear pull.

In my opinion b20 blocks suck ***** for turbo, I prefer an LS block.

How is that going to protect the sleeves from being so damn weak?
