The OBD2 injector plug's on my car could not be modifid to fit my dsm 450's so I had to cut them off and splice in some OBD1 plug's. The OBD1 plug's fit the 450's with no modification.

Tanks, I really like the tight turning radius compared the civics.

First and second it holds steady at 5 psi, third peaks all the way to 8 then slowly comes back down to 5 at WOT. I'm not sure about the temp of the snail but I never get on it when the engine is still cold.

The strait pipe in the picture is some really thick (1/4) aluminum that I had and I got it butting right up against the radiator too. Also the coupling Is one that I cut from some radiator hose L that was like 16 buck at autozone.

Hehe that's what I had at first. It's a lot quieter now but feels the same. I'm only pushing about 160.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I made some vids today with a camera phone.

The first one is a 4 gear pull

The second one is just the hf boost gage

And the third is just a desert road

Re: B18B with a Nissan turbo

Not a bad setup, what did you pay for everything?

Looks like you're running only 5lbs; you need to crank it up to 10 before you feel anything.

turbo4life 02-24-2009 10:31 PM

Re: B18B with a Nissan turbo

crank the boost up nog i was pushing somwhere above 15psi on bone stock ls just torqed the head bolts a little over to 65 ft.lb. spec is 61

and then i kept it at 10 with a little gift of 12 before it got to 5 k and stabalized down to 10

DIRTY LS FTW

OK so that old Nissan turbo was leaking oil from the turbine side probably due to a worn shaft piston ring. I needed another turbo but didn't want to spend to much and still needed to keep a/c and ps. I had some bad luck buying old turbos so I went for a CHING CHONG MIAOW!

The turbo was being sold for 135 but had an option to make an offer so I offered 130 and it was excepted. It came with an oil supply line and restrictor and for six dollars more you can get an oil return fitting with it. When I received the turbo I was very surprised to find something else in the box, and no it wasn't little grains of rice. It was a 1/2 in downpipe flange!

heres the oil supply and return fittings
Attachment 9232

and here is the turbo with part of the downpipe I made.
http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/u...ic030209_4.jpg

I made this downpipe with my new (to me) lincoln weld-pack hd 100

Much better looking exhaust, grind those welds man. DAMN! lol

You should purchase a wideband next. Good start, lovin where it's heading also.

I then went down to parkers and spent about $50 bucks to complete my oil return line I got an aluminum bulkhead fitting assembly, a -10an 90 and one foot of blue hose. I used some hondabond on the bulkhead and really cranked down on it so it wont leak.
