if its crap what should i do, sorry im pretty noob about stuff like this, but id like to piece together my own kit, trying to keep it under $1000 with decent gains, whats my best bet? its hard to find out what to do since i engine swapped, jus kind of lost
ive got a turbo out of a volvo that i can use, not sure what it is but im pretty sure its a t3, its off of a like 2.5 liter motor tho, will that not be too big?
as for a manifold, i kno a guy who makes them, ill have him set me up with that
what else would be a good idea for parts to buy, or have made, if you kno any good brands, if i cant keep it under $1000 thats fine, but def need to try to keep it under $1500

Alot of people ask this question, SSautochrome's products can be a little shady, some people like myself have had pretty decent luck with them. The turbo manifold that comes in that "half *** kit" will more than likely crack and cause problems. Lots of people brace them but your asking for trouble, especially with that heavy *** turbo hanging off that thing. Alot of the time when he advertises his "kits" they really dont fit, I know for a fact alot of ---- will have to be moved, cut to make that stuff, especially the intercooler pipes.
Is the price good for what your getting? ehh. its not great but its not good. It's a good start.. If you do decide to buy it ditch the mani, get a custom one made. Remember your on Home Made Turbo. There is lots and lots of information about how to peice together a custom kit. Look in the turbo projects section for some examples.
Good luck,
Jeff
