b16 turbo in 86 crx
Anyone got detailed instructions on installing a turbo on a b16 is a 86crx - I heard I will need multiple check valves not sure where or why ( for the MAp sensor) and where can I get a 2 bar map?
Any other issues I should know about?

You might need obd1 ECU and just chip it, works the bast and cheepest. Dont use FMU your engine is not gonna last long.
You need bigger injectors like 450cc-500cc good for 10psi-12psi, and bigger fuel pump like Walbro 255. And for the map just use GM 3 bar but you gonna have to chip your ECU first just to start it up. And for the turbo don't go too small, even if your boosting only 7psi, look for 57 trim its good up to 400 whp.
For the wastegate use external one, not internal NO...
And for the exhaust you have to go at least 2.5" diameter with no catalic convereter, stock cataloic converters will couse detonation on boosted cars, or you can use hi flow. It all depends haw fast you want it to be and who's gonna tune it for you, just basemaps no good...

I know its ball bearing. 250whp max. I know because we had gt28r on our b16 and 300whp max thats it. It went from 16psi to 12lb because it coudnt go no more way too small, yours even smaller. Go with 57 trim its gonna be bast for you. But its all depends haw much hp you want.
