Ahhh virgins...oh how i miss those days 
Ok, not really...seriously though, like everyone said...research is the key. Once you set a goal and a budget, always plan to be at least a few hundred over that just for misc. ---- that adds up. Everyone knows the basic peices, but it's the little things that kill ya in the long run...oil pan return bung, oil pan gasket, new seals, gaskets, hardware...all that stuff adds up.
