Default b16 rod/ supra piston combo.

well, as i looked into it more, it seemed more and more interesting. so i started doing research. the 1g-gte engine has a 75mm bore. but all the 1g-XXX engines have a 75mm bore. so that makes allot of things clear. But, the bad thing is, i dont know of any car in the usdm market with a 1g engine so this messes me up. also, jdm b16a1 connecting rods arent that hard to find. also, i was wondering if the ls rod trick would be just as good. or if i could use any other b series rod.

If you do the supra/b16 combo, from what I hear, you have to notch the block for clearance and it lowers compression to the 8.5:1 area.

exactly. it would be wayy better for tuning. also, it says that 1.3 bar would be fine for that. lol. 1.3 bar would be fun for showing off.

heh, i have found out, that b20 ( crv ) connecting rods work rather well. lol. i wouldnt know if they are more stronger or what, but all b16's, and all crv 2.0L connecting rods work. one part of the puzzle solved. now to go out and find any other pistons that are 75mm. hm...

hey jeff, did you do your runs on stock crx connecting rods?

so? i mean its cheaper. way cheaper. also, i doubt i am gonna run more than 16psi of boost. so that would help me out allot. i would probobly get aftermarket pistons, but thats about it.

and the quota of rods and pistons from crower was $836.47. if i order the cerv rods and crower pstons my total comes to 629.04. blamo. i would just have to get the connecting rods altered, and probobly shot peened and it would probobly be just as strong for the same price. so if i need more security, i just get them shot peened.

SOME ONE PLEASE TELL ME IF MY BRAIN IS TELLING ME WHAT I JUST TYPED IS TRUE!!!
