you guys think the ssautochrome manifold would work out good if i made a brace from where the turbo bolts onto the manifold to the bottom of the engine bolted by longer oil pan bolts for support so the manifold won't have to carry the weight of the turbo? do thos SS manis break from the exhaust pressure in them too?

don't bolt it to your oil pan bolts, bolt it to your a/c compressor bracket.

I think i would make a brace to the firewall myself...
I dont know.

maybe just weld a shelf off the radiator and let the turbo sit on that. yeah, maybe thats what I will do.

i was thinking more in the terms of 1" wide 1/8" to 1/4" thick steel plate held by the 4 bolts that told the turbo and then bolted held in place by the oil pan bolts, longer oil pan bolts to compensate for the steel plates. if you bolt the plates from the turbo to the radiator support, somethings gonna get messed up with the engine vibratios and shifts.

yes, you bring to the table a very good point. good thinking. i would just chain it then. the chain should asorb some vibration.
