Maybe I just forget how slow a stock Honda actually is?

I will give the Vortec chevy motors credit where it is deserved. They have nice power.

i test drove a v6 s10. it was quick. after a while of driving a honda with a CAI you start to think its fast. but its not. trucks are faster than them.

with only 475hp? you're crazy. whats the torque numbers on that engine you built. with 500ft-lbs, cruising at 55mph. i can shift down from 4th and spin a couple times, with big *** tires but with skinny tires i can spin forever (i've done it before and almost crashed). but @ 120. if you spin the tires you're going to crash.
Man Get your head out of the civics and start to think, I'm not a big guy and I can lift the rear end off the ground. When we did that 120km it was with regular tires on a wide open track, I was lucky it didnt go side ways, or start doing donuts. I'll see if I can get out there and get a picture of the road. I dont remember the tourqe spec it was higher than the hp but I would only be guessing.

So you were doing 75MPH. That sounds more believable. Where do you live?

kinda but not really. that is a GMC sonoma i believe. thats what a syclone is based on. the typhoon is based on the GMC SUV of the time.

syclones are AWD too.

syclone was a 4.3L and was the fastest production truck built to date, back in 1991. 13.0 !!!
One of the many reason I hate the corvette..

Syclone smacks the **** outta the corvette, then GM axes the syclones..

Vettes suck ( gotta give props to the Z06, but its still a "mid-life crisis" car ).
