i bought (guess i got beat really) a turbo manifold and audi external gate from e gay, well the manifold was full of cracks and the downpipe was welded to the exhaust housing of the turbo. so i got most of my money back from paypal but figured id give him a little for the wastegate. but now that i look at it, it has a port on the side, a banjo port on the other side, and an empty thread at the top. the threaded hole at the top is to adjust the preload on the spring inside right? to make minor adjustments to boost psi?? i dont know if anyone else has one or if anyone knows if something should go here or not.

I just picked up one from the junk the other day too.

When I took it apart I was confused about the banjo bolt as well. I looked closely at it and it looks to have traces of oil in it (maybe to lube the shaft) The other port on top is for the vac source I'm pretty sure, and the one I have isn't adjustable, and I don't think any of them are.

banjo bolt is your signal line, vacuum port up high is left alone, and i dunno about an adjustment screw, mine doenst have one.

banjo bolt cant be the signal line because its pluged on mine, and the port at the top is open. could be wrong i guess?(not the very top hole, im guessing yours are threaded with nothing in there too??) if you look down in there i can see a hole that goes into the diaphram?? usually thats for the fine adjust on the spring. i dont know. so ****, yours is hooked up and the banjo bolt is the signal line

mines still sitting on the bedroom floor, but I guarantee the banjo fitting is signal line.
