ATTN: boosted 2nd gen integra owners
will be boosting the teg hopefully next weekend. now there's a few things i'm not too sure of. its a greddy turbo kit for a 96 teg. i was looking at where the IC will be and there's not a lot of room behind that front bumper. am i gonna have to cut the re-bar ? also there's a cooling line for, what seems to be, the power steering. do i remove that and how ?
also, the kit comes with 'missing link' i know for the obd1 tegs, you put this underneath the map sensor on the TB but 2nd gens have the sensor on the firewall.
if someone could post pics of how they routed their pipes that'd be great.

Obviously the intercooler piping isnt just going to "plug and play" little modifications will be made here and there, I'd assume the core support will have to be modified (cut) in some way or another. Really isnt to big of a deal. The power steering line (homo cooler) can be removed, just take it off and make the 2 lines just go directly into each other. Go to the hardware store and get some barbed fittings with a chunk of hose and clamp it up.
The missing link will not be useable if it was designed for the style that bolts under the map sensor. You will either have to sell yours and buy the correct one from missing link, or go get some check valves from the pet store.
In a perfect situation, you'd get your ecu chipped run some nicely sized injectors and not worry about that bullshit.

i wasn't talking about the piping, i already knew that those would have to be modified, i was talking about the lack of space for the IC. but since you said i can take the 'homo coolers' off, that changes everything. i should've asked what the dimensions of the IC were before it was shipped out. damn.
anyone else would like to pitch in their 2 cents ? any pics of 2nd gen tegs engine bays ?
