obd1 will run the car the same as obd2 the sensors work the same way it's just code and the ecu's that are differant. Your engine will run just as well obd1.

Obd2 was designed for one thing and one thing only...emissions. That's why we convert down to obd1...for one you can still chip obd1, and 2...this is hmt...who gives a rats ass about emissions. ^-^

Eagle h-beams or similar are going to be your number 1 choice for rods. Shot-peened or not, stock d-series rods just can't handle 300hp.

Seriously though convert ot obd1 and get forged rods/pistons.
