They will come with instructions and torque specs. They recommens tightening them more than stock specs.

I use locktite, and torque the studs in to 10 ft lbs, i do that on every stud install because ive had issues where studs will spin with the nuts. I realize its not reccomended, but it works best 'for me'. 60 ft lbs on a D series... as the above poster said. don't forget to use the lube

Make sure the threads inside of the block are really clean and dry. blow them out. They say put the studs in by hand, but I put around a 5-10 ftlb torque on them.

Yeah make sure it's clean in there.
I made that mistake...
Bolt ate up the threads in the block

I just did mine the other night on my B16. 65ft/lbs and I torqued them into the block a little with an allen wrench.

the instructions on mine say 20 ftlbs had to put two nuts on each bolt to make one a jam nut and then used the torque wrench.
