On most cars you'll get away with removing the oil pressure sensor until the motor spins a bearing....
Seriously it's NOT a part you want to remove, a T fitting is cheaper than a new engine and oil filters can always get clogged or you can get a big oil leak and lose the oil in less than the 3 day check interval....

Use aluminum tubing, not copper. Oil has minerals in it and the stability of copper with other metals worries me. I used aluminum tubing for my v6 turbo 6g72. I see no problems with it since both sides were attached in some way to the engine and not the the chassis (oil filter housing to the turbo)

If money is an issue (which I can understand) then why not pick up some "hard line" from an auto parts shop. its only like $5 and works fine. Thats what im currently using

Well... If you had a oil presure sensor you would have known that the oil presure was lost.

The same thing has happened to me twice, and both times the oil light let me know before any big time damage accured.
stupid autoparts store "fuel line", stupid me for using them.
