I have the type S and the S stands for ----! I had to take it apart to get it to work right. Removed the stiffer of the 2 springs and adjusted the top. Seems to work decent now. Ne3ek was the one that showed me how it worked.

i have a cheap ebay BOV and it has worked great for 2 weeks. there really isnt much to mess up on mine though. no diaphrams or anything. just a brass piston in an aluminum housing with a spring. it isnt realy loud but i can hear it so its good enough. ill take a pic if anyone is interested

and i just installed it today with my home made types to hks adapter pipe/flange lol... holding 20psi strong. i took it apart today just to see if all is well. its 100% identical as lon as you get the right one... there are 2 knockoff's right now that copy hks...

This bov with the round end near the vac nipple is the retarded knockoff which leaks cuz its mostly plastic...


i have this one on my car which is all alluminum like the real one

How'd you rig yours up? I went to one spring when I was running just the single vacuum line... but once I ran both lines to the bov... i found that the two springs worked fine and its response rate was awesome.

almost identical... you can even use the hks inserts to change the sound of the bov... i took out the insert on mine jus to see if i could swap it out with the hks ones n its the same...
