indeed, that is the wrong place to tap into for oil feed. it only pumps out full flow when vtec is engauged..
What a hacked setup, somebody has some time I guess, should be pretty fun to drive if everything works out.

Imagine all the custom work that went into it. I am curious what are actually stock Honda parts on it. I was considering a similar setup for my del Sol but my damn gas tank is in the way. I need to find a rex

The gas tanks are in the way on both vehicles. If you look at a couple of the under carriage shots, it looks as if he made a custom gas tank. Still cool though.
I had always heard that the CRV's drivetrain was weak though? Even on the CRV itself. Hrm, I couldn't imagine putting boost to that drivetrain and expecting it to hold out. Hopefully it's not a lot of stock Honda parts..
Still a cool idea. Imagine the "tiger-like" take offs of a CRX with AWD.. It's crazy.

From the pics I can tell that he is using a CRV 5 speed hydro tranny with a VERY COOL hydro to cable conversion that I have never seen. He's using 88-91 Civic wagon rear suspension and rear *lower cross member*(lacking better term) with moddified wagon trailing arms (probly to keep crx ride height). Compare how low the rear cross member is to the bottoms of the tires, looks as though he has about 3" of clearence between it and the ground. http://public.fotki.com/morgie/qsr/c...ivers_032.html
He welded in the shifting mechanism from the floor of either a crv or a wagon. and I cant tell if he's using the differential from a crv or a wagon, but I would think its wagon since it mounts to the wagon suspension back there like stock. Can anyone identify anything else on here? It would be cool to have a recipe for this for possible later use right?
