Anyone here used or have seen the Turbo XS manual boost controlers in action?
Are the Turbo Xs manual boost controlers better than the ones that can be made with a T spring, bearing, and bolt?
The Turbo XS mbc says to hook it up between the turbo compressor housing and the internal waste gate. The homemade mbc says to hook it up between the BOV and the waste gate and to cap off the air nipple on the compressor housing. Could the homemade mbc work better if connected between the compressor housing and the waste gate?
Sorry if this post is too long...
I have my homemade mbc between the BOV and the waste gate and the compressor housing air nipple capped off. It goes to 14psi. and drops down to 10psi. til 8k rpm.
Will the homemade mbc climb steady up on psi & stay there if I connect it between the waste gate and the compressor housing air nipple? Thanks in advance.

no, you don't want to hook it up to the compressor b/c then it reads the boost level from there and it's not the real boost level that you engine is seeing b/c by the time it travels through your piping and you i.c., it drop 1 or 2 psi, so you want to hook it up between the wastegate (or actuator if you're running an internal wastegate) and a vacuum/boost source off the the intake mani, basically like the home made one said. the home made one will work fine, if you have the proper tools hands (thread tap, hack saw or cutting wheel) you can make the home made one for about 10 bucks and 10 minutes, i made one and it works fine.

Does your boost fluctuate? go upto let's say 14psi then come back down to 10 psi? Do you have a bleeder hole? if so what size? and last where did you get the instructions to make yours? thanks.
