umm, no welding will be involved in mounting the WG on this setup but im sure we could do it DSM style with a fatty weld...

No welding eh? thats pretty interesting whats the plan then? HF manifold to what kinda turbo? and how would the gate be mounted to the manifold or turbo without you welding to it period?

DSM style? such as off the bottom of the o2 housing to an external gate? thats homo, but functions. DSM guys also weld big Tial's right off there stock cast iron manifolds.

well i dont want to tell the hole setup now do i? btw this is the 'Y8 Project". a HF manifold with a T3 flange (cast POS from a 300z or something) welded onto it, 'Dustin special' 42/48 T3 (chysler turbo with ford turbine housing), Tyrus 6inch, and your delta mounted right over an inlarged O2 sensor hole in the top of the manifold just going to make the area flat as possible and drill and tap some holes (and pray the ****** dont leak), oh and a Hondata s200 with all the trimmings...

heh, that manifold doesnt have much meat there to be tapping threads in dude. Lol, your better off putting a nut on the bottom side, hahah. Your better off getting it welded.

well if it gets welded on the top (with a delta flange) i think it will hit the hood. we really need to get his AC discharged/ripped out and do some test fits...

btw if anyone has some pics please post them up i would like to see them...

umm, well i though it was original...oh well he bought a Deltagate tonight for the project. he still has a way to go, needs to remove the AC still and sell his other car to pay for his fuel management, think he will also pull the head and go with a thicker headgasket. i will post pics of the manifold when we figure out how it will be mounted...
