anyone else using the 1gen DSm BOV?
Im using the 1st gen DSM metal BOV , but I cant even here that its working. I was told that these were pretty loud. Its in perfect working condition, just cant here it.
I trying changing were the vacume was hooked, to a larger vacume port, and it sucks the BOV wide open, and keeps it open. on the small vacume ports it doesnt even move. whats wrong. |

Re:anyone else using the 1gen DSm BOV?
is your car moving? or in neutral? cuz the BOV will only make a sound when underload and in boost....
btw all the DSM BOV's i have heard are loud, except the one on my 4dr...but i put the stock rubber hose on the end so it wouldnt make any noise ;) |
Re:anyone else using the 1gen DSm BOV?
Crushing it will only make it harder to open...thus keeping it closed if you plan to boost more than what it was origianlly designed for.

Re:anyone else using the 1gen DSm BOV?
im running it at 11 lbs and its pretty decent for what it is. its louder than i thought. if your running open dp ofcourse your not gonna be able to hear it. but then again u can still hear it its just a softer tone since your car is too fucken loud. so if your car is open dp thats your problem
