Is there any way to get around the map sensor on an OBD0 crx, with an ex intake manifold, ive tried the check valves, it didnt work, is there anything else that would work?

you can use an electronic voltage clamp - I will find you the link on how to make one - very simple

Any way around it? as in what... are you trying to boost and still getting a CEL? or you cant figure out how to hook the map up to the EX? manifold.. If the check valves are installed the right way you should have no problems. Sometiems it takes up to 4 valves depending on how much boost your running.

Voltage clamps work great, just need to get them to lock down at 3.0v

When i boost, the cel comes on and my car stalls out, so if someone could show me how to make these voltage clamps that would be awesome

thats how there hooked up, i was throwing code 3 and 5, and my car would shut off, the only reason i could think of is that its a PM5 map sensor, my dx one, and i did the multipoint, do you think that has anything to do with it?

your using a SI ecu, and a SI/HF distributor right?

where do you get a voltage clamp? If it is set to lock at three volts how does the engine run when it shows less than that? Or does it just keep voltage from going over that?

It just keeps voltage going over 3V (at least part that ECU sees).
