Dude, here's what I would do. I would first cut the middle bridge of the turbo gasket where the split is. Then I would knife-edge the split so gases would go into both sides. It might not be the most efficient thing ever, but it beats the snot out of whatever half-assed thing you're plotting on.

Twin-scroll 16g6 ftw! FYI, those turbo's are closer to a 20g in size than the older Evo3 type 16g's. Check the hotside and see what's stamped on it and the turbine housing...'03-'04 Evo's are a 9.8cm^2 hotside with a funky twin flapper wastegate design. The 10.5cm^2 housing is usually only a single flapper.
